Dear Ms Carver,

My name is Jonathan Dixson and I've just started my BSc Mathematics degree at the University of Exeter. I've enjoyed maths from a very young age and I'm now really enjoying being able to study maths and nothing else for the first time in my life. I'm particularly interested in pure maths and also evolution and ecosystems and I hope to combine these two later on in my degree and hopefully continue this in to a career afterwards as well.

I would like to thank you very much for your support and let you know that I really appreciate that you are helping me even though I am a complete stranger to you, thank you so much. Having this additional money lets me significantly reduce my student debt and makes me feel much more comfortable about my finances, which makes me less stressed and frees up my time to study, socialise and ensure I make the most of my time at University.

I have Aspergers syndrome (a form of autism) and I stress, overthink and worry about a lot of things. This money therefore makes a real impact on me by lightening the load and making me feel less overwhelmed and anxious about my student debt and budgeting, so thank you.

I look forward to keeping you updated on my progress and being able to thank you further for the support you have given.

Best wishes

Jonathan
