Why did you choose to come to Exeter?
The University of Exeter has a strong reputation, it also has a beautiful campus and city. Coming to Exeter allows me to study a course I am very interested in as well as being able to stay close to home and my family.
Why have you chosen your subject of study?
I really enjoy the logic involved with maths and its precise nature.
What career aspirations do you have?
I am unsure of my current career path but I hope to undertake a job related to maths and would potentially consider becoming a maths teacher.
What will you be doing outside of study?
I have joined the University's Games Society and the Maths Society. I am also considering joining the badminton club.
What does receiving this scholarship mean to you and how will it impact on your time at Exeter and beyond?
The funding will help me a lot as I tend to stress and overthink so this gives me a bit of breathing space and makes me feel less anxious about my student debt and general budgeting.
