Why did you choose to come to Exeter?

Exeter is one of the leading universities in Medical and Biomedical studies and has numerous achievements in these areas of science. With one of the most professional teams, I can take advantage of their expert knowledge and enhance it with numerous available training courses, seminars and workshops. Furthermore, Exeter's collaboration with other Universities makes the research environment even more dynamic.

Why have you chosen your subject of study?

I have always been interested in working on cancer, pathology and their mechanisms in relevance with my previous studies and I found this project well matched to all my interests.

What career aspirations do you have?

I would like to run a cancer research laboratory and my own research team on cancer therapy that can result in developing more functional and effective therapeutic strategies.

What will you be doing outside of study?

I am keen on swimming and water polo, and hope to continue with both of these during my time at Exeter.

What does receiving this scholarship mean to you and how will it impact on your time at Exeter and beyond?

This award means a lot as without the support it wouldn't be possible for me to continue my research on cancer science at University of Exeter with the most professional expert team on the cancer metastasis mechanism.
