Why did you choose to come to Exeter?
The decision to come to the University of Exeter was an easy one for me. Not only was it a beautiful learning environment with a gorgeous campus and lovely surrounding area but its brilliant academic reputation and interesting choice of modules really drew me in.
Why have you chosen your subject of study?
I've always had a great interest in Politics - It's hard to not be intrigued by something that affects everything around you especially in the increasingly adversarial political climate.
What career aspirations do you have?
I'd love to work within the international element of politics. Though ambitious, I've always dreamed of working for the UN or an important NGO to help make a positive impact on the world.
What will you be doing outside of study?
Joining the Feminist Society is a natural choice for me but I'm also really interested in joining the Art History and Amnesty International Societies. I'd also really like to become a student ambassador.
What does receiving this scholarship mean to you and how will it impact on your time at Exeter and beyond?
My scholarship means more than words can describe. An immense relief in knowing I can experience my course to the fullest and take advantage of all the opportunities available to me. It's also further fuelled my ambitions and motivation to do my best, knowing I'll be making one more person proud of my hard work.
